JanSan Warehouse Folding Aluminium Ladder 12 Tread

These JanSan®professional heavy-duty folding aluminium warehouse steps offer a great alternative to standard steel mobile warehouse steps and excel where access through low doorways between work areas would normally preclude the use of large non-folding ladders.

Four sizes 8, 10, 12 and 14 tread, cover most warehouse requirements and the ingenious design enables the steps to be instantly folded, enabling simple manouvering through low doorways.

Two quick release locking hinges mean opening and closing the steps is quick and easy without the use of tools, and the rear rolling wheels can be used to manouvre the steps in closed or open mode.

The large aluminium platform features safety toeboards and a large 1000mm high handrail on three sides for the ultimate user protection and confidence, and incorporates a handy folding tray for tools or materials.

The wide rear stabiliser bar offers excellent stability when the steps are in use and a pair of rear rolling wheels contact the ground when the front of the unit is lifted to facilitate quick repositioning of the ladder, rising clear of the ground when the front of the step is lowered.

This removes the necessity for anti-acent devices as the ladder can only be climbed when the wheels are off the ground.

Complying fully with the latest European safety standard for ladders - EN131 these sturdy ladders have a maximum working load of 150kg (23.5st).
