JanSan Drain Unblocker & Cleaner

JanSan®Drain Unblocker & Cleaner Bullitt is a sulphuric acid based product designed to rapidly clear blockages caused by organic substances.

Its chemical action breaks down and dissolves grease, hair, soap, rags, paper, sanitary towels, tea bags, coffee grounds, vegetable matter, cooking fat ECT.

Bullitt is almost twice the density of water, and therefore sinks quickly into the blocked area, where its powerful action starts to take immediate effect.

DO NOT USE ON SHALLOW BATH AND SHOWER TRAPS AS THERE IS A DANGER OF REGURGITATION AND HENCE STAINING. DO NOT USE ON LEAD PIPEWORK. DO NOT USE ON SEPTIC TANKS.

DIRECTIONS
Do not breathe in fumes, wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.

Remove as much blocked water from the drain or toilet as possible, but ensure there is water in the u-bends before commencing treatment.

Introduce Bullitt as close to the blockage as possible. For some applications, this may be achieved by using a plastic funnel. Do not use a plunger, in case of splash-back.

Pour Bullitt slowly, a little at a time, to avoid excessive heat build-up or pressure which may damage fittings or pipe work.

For toilets and floor drains use 250ml. Allow to stand for 10 minutes.

When the blockage has cleared, TAKE EXTREME CARE if flushing through with water, in case of thermal reaction or splash-back.

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
Do not mix with other chemicals as violent reactions can occur.
Do not breathe the fumes, or lean too close when using Bullitt. Allow adequate ventilation.
Avoid contact with Chrome, stainless steel, vitreous enamel, aluminium, galvanised metals and decorative surfaces as discolouration or etching may occur.
